The industry charity has challenged publishers to set personal health goals and in turn raise money for colleagues facing hardship over the winter months.
NewstrAid's Chilly Challenge acknowledges the gloom of the first couple months of the year, encouraging those in the magazine and newspaper trade to get their bodies moving.
The result is twofold – not only does it encourage people when working from home to look after their physical and mental health, the charitable aspect provides help for those in the industry that are struggling.
The charity encourages people to set up a Campaign Page to raise money, and also help runners and walkers stay on target for their goals. There is also the option to connect to the tracking app Strava, to share fitness successes.
If fitness is not on your new years resolutions list you can also just donate to the cause here.
