Natural History monthly BBC Wildlife, reveals new look

Immediate Specialist’s leading natural history monthly BBC Wildlife has revealed a fresh, new look which is designed to work across all its platforms and is the first major re-evaluation and redesign since 2006. The new issue of BBC Wildlife will be on sale from October 21st priced at £4.99.

Launched in 1963, BBC Wildlife is a celebration of the natural world, inspiring people with the sheer wonder and beauty of nature, helping them understand and appreciate the truly amazing world around us. The new issue will be packed with fascinating and informative features from around the world written by experts, the latest science and conservation news, expert guides to help you better understand the wildlife on your doorstep, and opinion pieces relating to controversial issues of the day. The magazine is also introducing two new columnists, BBC Autumnwatch presenter Gillian Burke, and bestselling author Lucy Cooke, who will be taking a sideways look at the females of the species.

The redesign is accompanied by a marketing campaign across print, social media and online, and supported by retail promotions.

Editor Paul McGuinness adds, ‘For the latest stage in the magazine’s evolution, we worked with design consultant Andy Cowles to maximise the strength of the brand and showcase its world-leading content. We’re lucky to have access to the best writers and photographers, and the leading scientists and conservationists, which is what makes BBC Wildlife the best wildlife magazine in the world – and it just got even better!

The new-look issue of BBC Wildlife will be available from 21st October priced at £4.99
