Created by Stories, the branded content division, this campaign celebrates storytelling and takes inspiration from a C. S. Lewis quote: โA childrenโs story that can only be enjoyed by children is not a good childrenโs story in the slightest.โ
These potted histories will tell the true tales behind influential fashion designers with beautiful illustrations, which will engage children and adults alike.
Michele Harriman-Smith, CEO of Childrensalon, commented: โChildrensalon is proud of its collaboration with Condรฉ Nast and has thoroughly enjoyed working with the creative teams there, as well as with the beautiful brands that have been illustrated. We cannot be more pleased with the Fashion Fairytales and are thrilled to share these fun, witty and enjoyable short stories.โ
Featured designers include Karl Lagerfeld (Kids), illustrated by Tarout for Vogue; Armani (Junior), illustrated by Luke Scriven for _Tatler_; and Paul Smith (Junior), illustrated by Mark Thomas for _GQ_.
The Mini Vogue, Totler and GQDads sections of the magazinesโ websites showcase these original and exclusive stories and link through to the relevant designerโs shopping page on Childrensalon.
Childrensalonโs own story, illustrated by Dawn Austin Dolls, can also be viewed on the brandโs website.
