In this role, Broughton will work with the Co-CEO’s of UK Publishing, Helen Morris and Steve Prentice, to provide dedicated strategic People support across the UK Publishing business and continue the smooth hybrid working practices and collaborative culture of its people at Bauer Media’s office buildings in London and Peterborough.
Broughton will also be an active member of the Global People community working closely with Andrea Sylvester, Global HR Director Publishing and colleagues across different territories to set best practice for the business.

Broughton is a people professional with 15 years HR experience in the media, broadcasting, and advertising industry. He joins Bauer from ITV from his current role as Head of People, Content and Viewer (Marketing, Product, Insights & Distribution), where his focus has been on driving organisational performance through coaching, optimising team performance through effective organisation design, and building engagement through work culture initiatives. Prior to this Broughton was Head of HR for ITV Commercial and held HR Business and Manager Partner positions at ITV Studios, ITV Broadcasting, and BBC Studios.

Broughton starts his new role in September and will report directly into Helen Morris, Co-CEO of UK Publishing. Kerry Jenkins, Interim Head of People will continue to support the People strategy in the meantime and ensure a smooth transition when Broughton commences his new role.
