DC Thomson Media has launched The Stooshie, a brand new politics podcast offering insight and analysis with a Scottish focus.
With commentators from The Courier, The Press & Journal, Evening Telegraph and Evening Express, The Stooshie is being issued daily in the run up to the general election.
The podcast brings together the finest political minds to debate and analyse the big issues of the day. Today’s episode sees former Scottish Politician Kezia Dugdale join the debate. The team discussed The Times YouGov poll suggesting Johnson would secure a majority in the general election, and tonight’s Channel 4 climate change debate.
The Stooshie is anchored by editor of The Courier, David Clegg, who has a wealth of experience in politics reporting. Named as Political Journalist of the Year four times at the Scottish Press Awards, David leads the podcast and is joined by relevant voices from the DC Thomson Media newspaper portfolio, as well as other topical guests.
Editor of The Courier, David Clegg, said: "DC Thomson Media's newspapers are providing unrivalled coverage of the general election and I am thrilled The Stooshie podcast is able to harvest expertise from across our titles to provide penetrating insight from the front line of Scotland's political debate."
