Menopause Matters magazine - the first and only specific title providing up-to-date, accurate information about the menopause - is now available to buy in newsagents across the UK.
The magazine was founded by Dr Heather Currie, and first published back in 2002. Starting from the current, 56th issue of the print magazine, it will be available nationwide in branches of WHSmith and independent newsagents.
Heather said: “I’m delighted that Menopause Matters is now going to be available in retail stores, which will mean even more women will have access to information.
“From the very outset our aim has been to help all women to have access to accurate information, available in a variety of forms and ensure the subject is demystified and destigmatised – as most other areas of health are.”
Over the last couple of years, the Menopause Matters team has given the print magazine a brand new, modern look along with redesigning its website.
In addition to these innovations there is also a free weekly menopausematters newsletter for women to sign up to.
Editor Pam Brook said: “Our aim is for all women, approaching and experiencing the menopause, to have clarity over the different treatment options available, based on sound, clinical evidence, meaning they can make up your own mind about what is the best option for them.”
