Future PLC partners with Exact Editions to produce brand new digital music collection

Exact Editions are partnering with Future PLC to produce a brand new digital music magazine collection including Computer Music, Guitar Techniques, Future Music, Total Guitar and Guitarist.

The five titles will augment the already extensive selection of music titles available on the Exact Editions platform and offer libraries a different subscription model.

The five Future digital editions encompass back issues dating back to January 2017, each of which is accessible across web, iOS and Android platforms. The collection’s varied content spans the music industry, music technology, guitar tuition and professional music production, providing in-depth analysis and practical advice.

Every page, issue and article of the titles is incorporated into Exact Editions’ comprehensive search facility, meaning that platform-users can instantly search for a specific topic or article from the archive. Librarians will also have access to new levels of insight with usage data readily available in the administrator account.

The magazines are now available individually in the Exact Editions institutional shop, as well as together as the ‘Future Music Collection'.

Digital Campaign Manager Will Hardy said: “We’re delighted with how the digital editions look! It’s an excellent opportunity to enhance subscribers’ reading experience of the titles and the ability to search through an archive of issues will be indispensable.”

Daryl Rayner, Managing Director of Exact Editions, commented: “The magazines look fantastic on both web and app platforms, and will undoubtedly be an invaluable resource for music enthusiasts and professionals alike.”
