PPA Demo Day: Scaling smarter – building profitable data products

Sponsored by:

Join us on Thursday 18 September (9.00 – 11.30am) for the next PPA Demo Day, in collaboration with Faversham House and Merit Data & Technology, to discover how to turn your data into your next growth engine.

Data is a key ingredient to all digital products. While complex, when applied well it greatly enhances the consumer experience. So, we have invited publishers to showcase their latest application of data models, the use of AI to enrich experiences, and how they link trusted editorial content with data workflows.

Whether you’re looking to develop new revenue streams, increase the visibility of your content, or better understand the needs of your audience via data, this event brings together the strategies, partners, and technologies that make it happen.

Through presentations and demos we will showcase:

Understanding customer intent

See how forward-thinking publishers are harnessing behavioural data and search intent to design smarter, more useful products – from tailored content experiences to commercial data services that genuinely serve user needs.

Using AI to extract & enrich content

Explore tools that help you layer AI-powered metadata, categorisation, and tagging to create data rich products for your audiences. Discover how AI can amplify discoverability across platforms, products, and audiences.

Monetising existing content stores

Your content is an asset – but are you monetising it to its full potential? We’ll show demos that repackage and repurpose content for licensing, subscription add-ons, data products, and more – without reinventing the wheel.

Merit Group: Extract. Enrich. Engage. Turning Publishing Archives into Intelligent Assets

Much of a publisher’s most valuable content sits hidden in archives, disconnected from today’s audiences. This session challenges that status quo, showing how forward-thinking publishers can deploy intelligent frameworks to surface hidden insights, connect stories across time, and transform static content into dynamic, revenue-generating products.

We’ll explore practical, scalable approaches that not only extend shelf-life but also position your content as a living, evolving resource for readers, partners, and commercial teams alike.
