With a heritage of publishing its own food titles since the mid-2000’s, Anthem has launched a range of brands within the specialist food sector from Taste Italia! and Baking Heaven to Gluten-Free Heaven, Vegan Food & Living, and AirFryer Magazine.
Anthem says when it had discovered that delicious. had closed in late 2025 due to the liquidation of Eye2Eye Media, it could see that a big gap in the market had been left. Rather than launching a new magazine in its place, Anthem wanted to find a way to keep the heritage of delicious. magazine alive.
Anthem has now signed a licencing deal with delicious.’ Australian brand owners News Corp Australia, and will bring delicious. magazine back to the UK newsstand through the Healthy Eating series.
Sally FitzGerald, CEO, Anthem says: “Anthem feels like the perfect home for delicious. UK – it’s such a natural fit with our company ethos and our other wellbeing brands. For many of us, it’s a dream magazine to work on, so there’s been a lot of excitement in putting the first issue together and it’s something we’re very proud of.
“The food portfolio has been such an important part of Anthem’s business over the last 15 years, delicious. definitely adds further strength to it and we know many people have missed the magazine since it closed last year. It’s an exciting new era for the brand, and we’re delighted to be the publisher that gets to bring it back to the UK.”
delicious. magazine UK returned with a Christmas issue, which went on sale on sale 21st October.
It is packed with flavoursome recipes for all festive occasions, added the publisher, from the Christmas dinner itself, to Boxing Day brunch, a selection of show stopping desserts, creative ways to use up leftovers, homemade gifts that everyone will love to receive, and a special feature on how to roast a ham and then use it in four different ways.
Anthem will also continue to celebrate British chefs, with interviews with Mary Berry and Jamie Oliver featuring in the first issue. There’s also a round-up on the best supermarket buys for Christmas, the top wines to pair with your dinner, and a selection of cookery classes to learn how to make something special this year.
