The PPA Awards 2021 will be taking place online for the second year running, on June 23.
Building on the success of The PPA Awards 2020, this year’s ceremony will be broadcast live, for free, on the afternoon of June 23 and will include a variety of live engagement features to allow the publishing community to interact live in real time.
PPA’s Commercial and Events Director, Caroline Cronin commented: “After running a full risk assessment following the roadmap announced by the government last month, we’ve taken this decision with the primary goal of protecting our audience, minimising disruption and providing a clear directive to all of our members – in particular our event partners and entrants.
“Whilst we are buoyed by the prospect of in-person events returning without restriction this year, the timing is too tight for us to have confidently promised the industry an in-person celebration at such scale. But we have some exciting developments planned for the ceremony this year and hope you can join us for an interactive afternoon where we will be showcasing the most inspirational stories of resilience, growth…and dogged determination!”
The PPA Awards is scheduled to take place in person next year, on June 22, 2022 at Grosvenor House, London.
