Royal Mail has published information about which delivery offices are moving to three-day-a-week delivery for Second Class, Economy, and Bulk. View it here.
This schedule will be updated weekly (refreshed every Friday, with the ambition to give customers 10 days’ notice) and provides PPA members, as well as publishing, subscription, production, and customer service teams, with timely visibility to manage subscriber expectations and handle delivery queries by postcode.
The rollout of this new delivery model is expected to be completed before the Christmas peak in December 2026.
In addition, Royal Mail is distributing a customer leaflet to every UK household explaining the changes. This material may serve as a useful reference for publishers when developing subscriber communications, FAQs and customer service scripts to support audiences through the transition.
