The PPA commissioned this research to equip UK business and consumer publishers with a practical, evidence-based framework for navigating the strategic, legal, and commercial challenges posed by large language models (LLMs) and their approach to acquiring content.
The research draws on a deal tracker covering 73 publicly known AI licensing agreements, a survey of over 30 PPA members, expert interviews, and scenario modelling validated by industry experts.
