On Friday the independent publishers gathered to celebrate the achievements of the last year.
Today (26 November) the PPA Independent Publisher Awards ceremony took place. After a stimulating conference with excellent speakers, those on the shortlist celebrated in style at an exclusive event in London hosted by up-and-coming comedian Maisie Adam.
The shortlist of 124 independent publishers and their writers, editors and designers were whittled down to 21 winners. From Front Cover of the Year Subscription Strategy of the Year, the PPA Independent Publisher Awards shone a light on all aspects of the industry.
PPA CEO Sajeeda Merali commented: “The PPA are really pleased to have hosted our second in-person awards ceremony of 2021. It’s been a pleasure getting all the independent publisher industry leaders in one room to celebrate their achievements over the last year.
