Since taking the helm at AD Middle East, Choudhry has been a driving force in shaping the title’s editorial identity across the region. Under his leadership, the title successfully transitioned from a licensed edition to a fully owned and operated Condé Nast publication, tracking robust traffic and revenue growth.
Anna Wintour, Chief Content Officer, Condé Nast said: “Talib is a dynamic and forward-thinking editor with a keen understanding of how to tell compelling stories across all platforms, with a clear editorial voice and strong eye for design. The strength of his vision, combined with an ability to reach a new generation of design lovers, makes him the ideal candidate to capture the singularity of House & Garden, and lead the title into a new chapter.”
Talib Choudhry added: “House & Garden is a title I’ve long admired for its spirit, integrity, and celebration of beauty in all its forms. I’m honoured to join the team in London and build on its extraordinary momentum.”
House & Garden is celebrated for its rich visual storytelling that captures the charm of English design, decoration and gardening, and its enduring connection to both established and emerging creative talent.
Prior to his time at AD Middle East, Choudhry was based in London and was Design and Interiors Editor at The Telegraph, and Deputy Editor and later Editor-at-Large at Elle Decoration.
A Newcastle University graduate, he began his career in the UK and has long maintained deep ties to the country’s design and interiors community.
Choudhry succeeds Hatta Byng, who steps down after ten years of editorship at House & Garden, during which time she oversaw a period of sustained editorial excellence and growth for the title.
