The fourth volume of Anthem Publishing’s The Vinyl Buyer’s Bible has been published, this time taking an exclusive look at David Bowie.
This is not the first venture into Bowie’s career for Anthem, who published a 4-volume series called The Bowie Years in 2018, and have also dedicated issues of Classic Pop to the singer.
The Vinyl Buyer’s Bible is a collector’s special published biannually, and produced by the team behind Long Live Vinyl magazine. The magazine aims to guide readers on the best ways to purchase vinyl, what to look out for when buying, and how to go about tracking down the final few pieces they might need for their collection.
This Bowie edition will feature in-depth articles on each of Bowie’s 27 studio albums, as well as expert guides on collecting the key albums in vinyl form. It will also help you spot valuable rarities and priceless curiosities on the market, and features guidance from seasoned record-dealing pros and Bowie fanatics.
Editor of Long Live Vinyl magazine, Gary Walker, said: “We’re excited to be looking closely at the music of David Bowie in relation to vinyl, and to examine what impact he has had on the record collecting scene. This special edition is the perfect companion for anyone who loves vinyl, and will help guide anyone venturing into record collecting as well as those who have been building their collection for years.”
