Speakers

Pete Clifton – Editor-in-Chief, PA Media 

Pete Clifton has been the Editor-in-Chief at PA Media since 2015. He is responsible for all the editorial content produced by PA, which is the national news agency for the UK and Ireland. Pete has also worked at the BBC, where he was Editor of the News website and launch Editor of the Sport website. He was also Executive Producer of MSN UK, Editor of BBC Ceefax, and started his career as a news and sport reporter at the Chronicle and Echo evening newspaper in Northampton. Away from work, Pete enjoys family life, travel, cycling, playing the piano and banjo, and exchanging stories in bars.   

Louise Dutton – Editor, PA Media

Louise Dutton, Editor of PA Media’s Page Production department, brings over 17 years of extensive experience in the media industry to her role. Her career has encompassed both editing and design for national and international publications, equipping her with a deep well of publishing expertise.

Since taking the helm of the Page Production department earlier this year, Louise has successfully led the launch of several new contracts. Her focus remains on helping her team to navigate the evolving landscape of the publishing industry while consistently delivering exceptional sub-editing and design services across both print and digital platforms.

Joe Pickover – Head of Video, PA Media 

Joe Pickover is an experienced digital & video content strategist having spent over a decade running video departments for national media publications and agencies. During Joe’s time in editorial and commercial video production he has reimagined and revolutionised revenue streams and content production processes at many organisations.

Kerri-Ann Roper – Head of Entertainment and Features, PA Media 

Kerri-Ann Roper is the head of Entertainment and Lifestyle (Features) at the PA News agency. Previously she worked at MSN UK, heading up the global entertainment news proposition (MSN Stars), and also MSN Tech and Games. Previously she was the Showbiz news editor at Sky, and worked for Media24 in South Africa.
