Building agent-ready editorial infrastructure

Supported by

AI agents are becoming a new kind of reader and a new kind of colleague, and most publishers are still learning how to embrace both. Their audience and content data often sit in disconnected systems, which makes connectivity the first challenge to solve.

Join us on Thursday 5 November (9:00-11:30am) to explore this more.

Publishers are starting to use AI agents for real editorial and audience work, but most aren’t yet set up for it. Audience data lives in one system and content in another, and the two rarely connect. When an agent does produce something, editors usually only see the final result, not how it got there.

As publishers look to draw insight from across their systems to grow first-party data, lifetime value, and content performance, how can agentic and MCP frameworks support the humans in the loop? How do we put the right data infrastructure, systems and security in place so agents can do genuinely useful work? And how do we build these technologies so that editors, readers and advertisers can trust them?

This PPA Demo Day gets practical about the infrastructure underneath:
  • Connecting audience and content data. Using data pipelines and MCP connectors so agents can work across your CMS, analytics, and first-party data instead of one tool at a time.

  • Letting editors supervise agents, not just approve their output. What it looks like for an editor to see what an agent is doing, step in mid-task and correct it.

  • Building systems that explain themselves. Showing readers and advertisers when and how AI was used, so they don’t have to take it on faith.

Speakers to be announced soon. This is a free event for PPA members – register today to avoid disappointment.
