PPA Next Gen Awards: 2026 winners announced

The PPA has announced the winners of its Next Gen Awards 2026, recognising the talented individuals who are already helping to shape the future of the UK's publishing industry.

Now in its 15th year, the awards celebrate emerging talent from across consumer and business media, highlighting the people making their mark across editorial, commercial, marketing, audience development, events, insight, design and technology.

This year’s winners reflect the breadth of skills driving the modern publishing industry. Whether creating exceptional content, building innovative commercial partnerships, uncovering audience insights or delivering outstanding customer experiences, each winner demonstrates the creativity, ambition and expertise that will shape the next generation of trusted editorial brands.

The awards form part of the PPA’s wider commitment to attracting, developing and celebrating publishing talent. Alongside initiatives such as the PPA Paid Work Experience Scheme, which is helping to make careers in publishing more accessible, the Next Gen Awards recognise those already making an exceptional contribution and inspire the talent that will lead the industry into the future.

Sajeeda Merali, CEO of the PPA, said:

“The future of publishing depends on the talented people coming into our industry and the opportunities we create for them to thrive. The PPA Next Gen Awards celebrate individuals who are already making an outstanding contribution while demonstrating the curiosity, creativity and commercial thinking that will define a future generation of publishing leaders.

Developing future talent is one of the PPA’s key priorities. Through initiatives such as our Paid Work Experience Scheme and the work of our Next Gen Board, we’re committed to helping ensure our industry continues to attract people from all backgrounds and gives them the opportunity to build rewarding careers.”

The winners were selected by an expert panel of judges drawn from across the publishing industry.
