Vint Cerf has accepted the invitation to deliver the The Stationers' Company annual lecture at Stationers' Hall on 11 March 2020.
Vint is one of the founding fathers of the internet with a profound interest in the future of documents and the importance of their longevity in an in online world. He will speak on the theme of The Future of Text.
At Google, Vint Cerf contributes to global policy development and continued spread of the Internet. He was the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of the Internet hence his being called the Father of the Internet. He has also served extensively on various internet research and control bodies.
No doubt Vint Cerf will focus on some innovative new authoring and reading applications featuring the power of text interaction with the assistance of powerful computing and afterwards he will field questions from the audience.
