Condé Nast and Gucci partner for third season of short film series “The Performers”

Condé Nast and Gucci recently announced the third season of “The Performers”, a short film series which debuted in 2017

Each of the films explore the influence and inspiration behind some of the world’s most original creatives. “The Performers” will be published across the websites and social handles of both Gucci_and international editions of _GQ and Vogue.

This year, the creative collaboration has been renewed with five new acts featuring culturally relevant talent, including musicians Benjamin and Florence Clementine.

"We are thrilled to be working on Season 3 of “The Performers”, a collaborative creative project that continues to resonate with our audiences in multiple markets around the world. This hugely successful video franchise will this year benefit from an extended media strategy, with distribution across GQ, Vogue and other relevant titles within the Condé Nast portfolio, as well as on _Gucci_owned and operated channels," said Jamie Jouning, Chief Revenue Officer at Condé Nast International.

Act I opens the third film series with musical husband and wife duo The Clementines in Topanga, California, where they live with their one-year old son Julian Jupiter. The musical power couple collaborate as The Clementines, and Act I provides a glimpse into the lives of the London-born duo through a series of vignettes, as they work, live and flourish in their home.

Mercury Prize winner Benjamin Clementine was first discovered busking while sleeping rough on the streets of Paris. In 2015, he won the prestigious music award for his debut album, ‘At Least for Now’. Singer-songwriter Florence Clementine began writing songs at the age of 14.

She left school three years later to study music at the BRIT School for Performing Arts, and went on to receive critical acclaim for her 2015 debut album, ‘Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful’.
