THE UK’S NUMBER ONE VENUE - where brands are born, products are launched and networks are made. We understand what organisers or production companies are looking for and with 20 halls and 34 conference suites you can achieve everything you want (and more!) at the UK’s best connected venue.

A FLEXIBLE SPACE FOR EVENTS OF ALL SIZES
One of Europe’s leading exhibition and event centres, the NEC offers flexible space for organisers to host any type of event, including ready-made event layouts, pillar-less spaces, and complete blank canvases which spark innovation and creativity.

The venue can provide over 182,000 square metres of covered indoor space across 20 interconnecting halls and 34 conference suites, in addition to over 160 acres of hard-standing ground and 75 acres of woodland. It’s a perfect fit for conferences and live events for 20 – 5000 delegates, not just large-scale exhibitions.

The venue team is dedicated to putting on great events. The NEC has previously welcomed the likes of Range Rover, Severn Trent, BskyB, Sainsbury’s and Royal Mail for a variety of corporate activities. In fact, EE launched their new brand - which began life in 2010 with the merger of Orange and T-Mobile - at the NEC in October 2012.

UK’S BEST CONNECTED VENUE
Benefiting from unrivalled connectivity by road, rail and air, the NEC is the most conveniently located venue in the country. 75% of the UK’s population live within a three-hour drive of the venue and can access it through the fantastic transport network that surrounds the site.

As well as a physical connection to Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International train station, the NEC is in close proximity to the M6 and M42 and has around 16,500 car parking spaces for visitors.

24/7 VENUE
Based on the NEC site, Resorts World Birmingham, the UK’s first integrated destination leisure and entertainment complex, is due for completion in 2015. It will comprise a casino, four-star boutique hotel and Asian themed spa, a retail element containing 50 units, an 11-screen cinema and a multi-use banqueting and conferencing facility to be known as the Vox (managed by the ICC).

The £150 million development will make the NEC site - which also includes the 15,683 seat Genting Arena and numerous hotels with a total of almost 2,220 bedrooms - a 24/7 visitor destination.
